Olde Town Park
Located at 126 South Main Street
The centerpiece for the park is a 14 x 32 foot cascading fountain by local artist Zoe Strecker. Inspiration for the fountain came from the dramatic limestone gorge of the Kentucky River known as the "Palisades". There is a platform area in front of the fountain, which can be used as a stage, allowing the park to serve as the site of live entertainment.
* Since this park is a public park, anyone is allowed to be there. You are not permitted to tell people to leave.

"The Lady That Danced Herself To Death"
The Ghost Story here begins with a young woman who checked into the Harrodsburg Springs Hotel, which stood on the park grounds in the late 1880s,
under a false name. She danced with several partners inside the Hotel's Ball Room. At the end of the night & without warning, she died in her
last partner's arms. The staff and guests held a funeral for her and, knowing her identity, they buried her on the hotel grounds.
The hotel burned down decades ago, but her grave still remains, under a marker that reads
"UNKOWN - Hallowed and Hushed be the Place of the Dead. STEP SOFTLY, BOW HEAD." Local lore says her ghostly form still appears, dancing in the moonlight.
